So enough chit chat - let's get to the results!
Winning the pool in a solo 1st place victory is Brynn Woodley! Nice job, Brynn! At least one of the Woodleys came to play this year. Out of the nine Woodley-family participants this year, you were the only one to bring your 'A' game. Congrats - you now have $150 to buy us all lunch!

Gina, JR, and Pete all tied for second place, so they will be splitting the remaining $100.00, netting $33.33 each. Now let's take a look at these three...
This was Gina's first year, and she did very well! Congrats Gina!
JR was last year's winner, and he made a respectable showing also. JR's got something figured out, so he's one to watch next season.
Now Pete... Let me just say how proud of Pete I am. He lead the game for a while, which was impressive, but even more impressive was the fact that last year he came in nearly dead last. Talk about improvement! And that gives the Beucke family wins over the past 3 years, as Pete's wife Dee Dee got 1st in '06 and 2nd in '07. Nice job Pete (and Beuckes, for keeping the legacy alive)!
Gina and Pete - Please send the address you would like you winnings sent to idolmadness@gmail.com and JR will get those winning sent out to you.
...But hold on just one second. With David Cook winning American Idol, that means NO ONE correctly picked the idol. If my memory serves me correctly... yep - here it is: "WAGI American Idol pool Official Rules" subsection B, article 4.2: "In the event that no pool contestant correctly identifies the season's American Idol, all winnings of all pool contestants are forfeit and shall be paid directly to the official matrix maintainer." Sorry winners! And JR - I expect to see my winnings on my desk by tomorrow morning.
Well, I hope you all had fun... Every year we get more and more contestants, which makes it more fun. Hope to see you back here next year!
-Graham
