BIG NEWS: the results are in... and Chikezie's been sent home!
BIGGER NEWS: The matrix is up and running! The current scores are as follows:
New this year to the scoring matrix are those cool little colored bars that give people an idea at-a-glance of how they stack up to the competition - the bigger the bar, the better. Also, any 1st place score(s) will show up in blue in the ranking column.
Also, if you would like to see the full matrix of results, download the PDF here : http://www.woodleyarchitecture.com/American_Idol_2008_WK3.pdf This will give you a detailed view of your scoring, who you have that can still earn you points, if you have gotten any of the week's eliminations correct, etc. There's info there for every participant, so if you want to study you opponents, you can do that too. Also, please check over your individual matrix. I had a lot of data to enter, and there's a chance I screwed something up. So if you see anything odd, let me know!
But... As for the results, it's really impossible to predict much at this point. Anything can still happen. But kudos to Pete and Brynn for pulling off the early lead!
EVEN BIGGER NEWS: The blog is up! In an effort to reduce the amount of e-mails everyone will recieve, all weekly results will be posted here. You can visit the blog at anytime from any computer by simply going to the easy-to-remember address: http://idolmadness.blogspot.com/ (note there is no www. in the address). As an added bonus, people can add comments, thoughts, etc. to the blog (i.e. let's see some trash talk!). There will also be polls, videos, clowns making balloon animals (pending FAA approval), etc. So make sure you check back here often! See you next week!
Denton - out! (okay... I know... it's super cliche and cheesy... but if Seacrest can do it, so can I. And I have to do it at least once a year. Now it's out of my system. Thanks for understanding...)
Bonus! In case you missed Chikezie's performance last night that got him the boot, you can watch it here:
